Charlotte has some of the best sidewalks in the country. Virtually every street in the city has them, and when you find one that doesn’t, you’re in a neighborhood where the people are friendly and even the dogs are happy to see you pass by. If your run takes place on pavement, concrete or a treadmill, you’re road running. Greenways? Unless they have rocks and roots, they're in! If the surface is solid and flat, you need road shoes!
